For its new Fall-Winter 2024 collection, Bleu Blanc Rouge celebrates French craftsmanship by unveiling its pieces in a city emblematic of traditional know-how: Lyon. Renowned for its heritage in the silk industry, Lyon embodies French elegance and perpetuates exceptional know-how passed down for generations.
The brand naturally continues its Lyonnaise escapade in the heart of the Antiques district, a place steeped in history, located around rue Auguste Comte, also known as "antique dealers' street". This iconic district of Lyon is home to many renowned boutiques, such as Antiques Gérardin & Cie , founded in 1949 by Gérard Gérardin's father, has become an institution in the field of Lyon antiques. A place where the art of conservation and transmission of heritage has been perpetuated for several generations.

Antiquités Gérardin & Cie: A Heritage in the Heart of the Antiques District
at 6 rue Auguste Comte, Antiques Expert from Father to Son Since 1949
A passionate family legacy
Gérard Gérardin grew up surrounded by the treasures his father brought back to the shop. "I've always been here, immersed in art. My father often brought back unusual objects and shared his passion," he confided to Le Progrès magazine – published in 2016. Founded in 1949, the antique shop began at a time when only four or five antique dealers shared the neighborhood. In 1977, he took over the family business, continuing with the same passion for rare and precious objects.
Over the years, Gérard has grown the store, witnessing the golden age of the 1980s and 2000s, when the neighborhood boasted nearly 80 antique dealers. Today, some thirty of these specialty shops continue to keep this legacy alive, with Gérardin & Cie at the helm of this exciting ecosystem.
