The Musicals of the Cézanne Route
From Tholonet to Aix-en-Provence, the emblematic route of Paul Cézanne, father of modern art, inspired founder and artistic director Christophe Bukudjian. For the past four years, it has hosted the "Les Musicales de la Route Cézanne" festival, which has been a real success. Building on this success, for its fourth edition, Les Musicales will welcome numerous artists for a week instead of the usual three days. The program will open at the Granet Museum on July 24 and continue until July 30 in the heart of inspiring and travel-inducing locations: Château du Tholonet, Saint-Joseph Church, and the Jesuit Baths, to name a few. For the first time, Les Musicales will stop at the Archbishop's Theatre in Aix for the exceptional concert by the queen of fado, Mariza, on Sunday, July 28.
